H.E. Khy Kosal Presides Over the Workshop to Review RDC’s Final Report under LASED III in Kep Province
Kep Province: From 26 to 27 October 2026, Resource Development Consultant Co., Ltd. (RDC) organized a workshop to review its final report under the Third Land Allocation for Social and Economic Development Project (LASED III). The workshop was presided over by H.E. Khy Kosal, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) and Director of the Agriculture Component of LASED III. The event was held at the Sangha Mit Hotel in Kep Province, with approximately 70 participants, including eight women.
In his opening remarks, H.E. Khy Kosal emphasized the importance of reviewing and discussing the key findings and results documented by RDC in its final report following 15 months of implementation. The review focused on improving agricultural systems, strengthening land and water resource management, and expanding market access for farmers and target communities.
During the workshop, RDC representatives presented the results achieved, progress against the established targets, and key findings from the implementation period. The presentation provided a basis for the project team and relevant stakeholders to review, assess, and provide feedback to ensure that the final report is of high quality, comprehensive, and accurately reflects the actual results of the work undertaken.
During the discussions, H.E. Khy Kosal provided key comments and recommendations, emphasizing the need to strengthen the report’s clarity, comprehensiveness, and supporting evidence. In particular, he advised RDC to review and revise the presentation of achieved results against the established targets, ensure the accuracy and completeness of relevant data and supporting evidence, clearly document challenges, experiences, and lessons learned, and develop specific, practical, and actionable recommendations.
The project team and consultants also contributed technical comments and proposed improvements to support RDC in supplementing and refining the report before finalizing the document.
The workshop contributed significantly to ensuring the quality of the final report and documenting key knowledge, experiences, and lessons learned from LASED III implementation. These findings will serve as a valuable basis for future learning, improved implementation, and development planning.
