Project Progress: The Success of La-in Village Safe Vegetable Production Group in Koun Mom District
We are thrilled to share the progress of our Tumpoun ethnic community from the "La-in Village Safe Vegetable Production Group" in Teun commune, Koun Mom district. The group consists of 38 members (19 females) and has received support for 12 net houses.
-As of October 21, 2026, the production group has achieved three major milestones:
?1. Net House Vegetable Farming: All 12 families who received net houses have successfully planted, harvested, and sold their produce locally on a daily basis. This month, some families harvested once, while others harvested 2 to 3 times. Produce is sold at base prices of 4,000 KHR/kg for leafy greens (mustard greens/cabbage) and 5,000 KHR/kg for beans. Even more impressively, community members are actively sharing their agricultural and livestock-raising knowledge with others in the village.
? 2. Poultry Raising: Chicken coops have been fully installed, and the poultry-raising process is officially underway.
?3. Water Infrastructure: On-site feasibility inspections for water well construction have been successfully completed.
