Promoting Safe Vegetable Production under the LASED III Project in Ratanakiri Province
The indigenous Tumpuon community in La In Village, Teun Commune, Koun Mom District, has established the La In Village Safe Vegetable Production Group, comprising 38 members, including 19 women. Through the LASED III Project, the group has received 12 net houses.
The project has provided training and technical guidance on net-house vegetable cultivation to promote climate-smart agriculture and safe vegetable production. As a result, some households are now able to harvest vegetables for both household consumption and sale, while others can produce sufficient vegetables for their families. These efforts help reduce household expenses and reliance on purchasing vegetables from external sources.
