From September 16–19, 2026, the Agri-Business Sub-Component of the LASED III Project, in collaboration with the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Department of Health, Department of Women's Affairs, and Department of Rural Development, conducted a training course on nutrition-sensitive agriculture rules, gender, and hygiene at the Preynob 2 Fisheries Community and Chhlong Fisheries Community. The training was attended by a total of 121 participants, including 23 females (representing 51.64% - Note: translated as stated in text or corrected? Objectives of the training course:
(1) To disseminate information on promoting nutrition, pre- and post-natal care for pregnant women, promoting gender equality in daily activities and agricultural work, as well as sanitation and clean water; and
(2) To improve the food system through the creation of better nutritious products and the implementation of processing nutrient-rich agricultural products.
